Any thought on Duffy….Has injuries the last 2 years. When he did pitch in 2023 he was very good. 2.51 in 12 starts with more than a k per inning.

He is a must sign if we already know he is going to put up 2.51 era this year.

More importantly be healthy enough to give you 130-150 innings. I have to he gets a 3 year deal at 15-20 per in this market. But, maybe he slips to 3/39 or does a 1 year high salary deal.

So is Tatis becoming an outfielder? I think the Padres dodged a bullet there.

Turner was originally a Padres so maybe he left with a bad taste in his mouth and didn’t want to go back there for some reason.  He also played the outfield some so maybe they wanted him playing CF some and he wanted to be full time SS.

Turner wanted to be on the East coast House in Florida,went to NC State and wife is from New Jersey Also friends with Harper and former Nats hitting coach on the Phillies.
