I figured McKenna would be the 4th outfielder but it appears that's up for grabs right now.

Right now the Diamondbacks outfield is Gurriel, Carroll and McCarthy with Kyle Lewis as the 4th OF so I'm not convinced they're building around him.  At least not this year.  Of course a lot could change during spring training and AZ might decide to simply stash him at Reno for the entire season waiting for Gurriel's contract to expire.  Nonetheless I would be asking if I were Elias and following up from time to time to see what their current feelings are.

My ideal world has Hays as the fourth OF.  That's how I understood Roll Tide's post.

I think Ted Williams would have had a stroke at the idea of hitting .242 over the course of a season.  

The ~.140sh separation between their batting averages and on base percentages is not lost on me, though.

The Williams comps were prior to the 2022 season.
