The YoYo of the Norfolk Tide's second half continues.  But my son and I watched Adam Sandler's remake of The Longest Yard this past weekend and he said that Godoy is Brucie's spirit animal.

The last few days SP for Norfolk and Durham as they play the IL tournament Tuesday-Thursday

Tides this week: Armbruester, Stallings, Zimmermann, Irvin, Povich today

Bulls this week: M. Montgomery, A. Molina, Jacob Lopez, Criswell, TBD today

Same as a Sunday #1 starter being unable to pitch the ALWC series in one more week, it looks like Povich will finish his regular season today, miss the International League series, but be on normal rest for the Las Vegas 1-game showdown with the PCL champion if Norfolk advances next weekend.

Looks like the Organization prefers Armbruester not to throw International League Game 1, as they had him go Sunday today after the Tuesday turn earlier this week.

I haven't heard anything recently, but I did notice Bruce Zimmermann is already listed as the Game 1 probable pitcher.

If they stay on turn it would be Zimmerman, Irvin and Povich, if necessary.
