That’s the best his fastball has looked yet.   Still hangs too many changeups and cutters but you can dream on what you saw today.

A big part of his problem is that he is just throwing too many balls. He has to throw more strikes.

His problem in one of his other starts was too many hittable 2 strike pitches.

Yea, I’m not worried about him or Henderson. They will figure it out. 
 

Grayson has excellent stuff but the command is very suspect and that’s the big issue. But his control is an issue too.

I don’t think any of these things are long term issues for him but they are problems now.

And btw, as we are seeing, the mound may be an issue today too and isn’t a big help to the control or command.
