Anyone tried the Immaculate Grid game?

Getting better.  7 of 9 today and should have been 8 but big fingers hit the wrong select.  One of my biggest issues are the emblems.  Had to research to make sure the C was for Cleveland and not Cincy.  Getting there.  Got Stan Jefferson as Met/Oriole for an obscure one.

I put one in the wrong box once. Must be old age.

My biggest blunder was when I knew the correct answer was Cecil Fielder, I just typed Fielder and clicked on Prince Fielder instead of his Dad without even thinking.

Finally got another 9 today.

I go back and look at the lists of guys who were correct answers and it’s crazy how many obvious names I just draw a complete blank too. I don’t know how people just remember everything without looking something up.

I agree, I totally blank on some of the obvious names, too.  But all my years of looking at 80s and 90s baseball cards are finally paying off, albeit in a relatively meaningless way.  I'm really kinda lost when it comes to 2000s players.

I spent a lot of time on the one this morning, though.  Kept coming back to it, I don't know how some of these players popped into my head.

Being born in the 90s hurts me in this game.  Having a vast knowledge of somewhat obscure 80s players is a great way to get a low score and I just don’t have that.  The more obscure 2000s guys are still fresh on everyone’s mind so they aren’t always guaranteed to be a low percentage.  I haven’t been able to get under the century mark yet.  Luckily I played the shit out of this game when I was younger, so that helps:
