Anyone tried the Immaculate Grid game?

89. Though it should only half count when you have to resort to Plan D(otel). Clearly there wasn't a lot of Pit/Det springing to mind for folks considering he was the top choice there!

9/9, 103.  5 Orioles.   Flexed my 1970s memory muscles a bit.

I got some really low %s today-- including a 0.05%er I only got because he was the victim of a Manny Machado defensive highlight that @Frobby recently posted. But I got cute and flubbed bottom right. I remembered that Adam Jones had been drafted as a SS-- I thought in the first round (correct), and I thought he had played the position some with Seattle (incorrect).

Always good to remember, on those 1st rounder questions, that the player doesn’t need to have been drafted by the team, he just needs to have played with them.  I couldn’t think of a Royals pick other than Witt either, but I remembered that Benintendi had played for them and was a 1st rounder for the Red Sox.

Robinson Cano, Steve Balboni, Gene Michael

Aaron Sele, Johnny Damon, Rico Petrocelli

Logan Gilbert, Andrew Benintendi, jManny Machado

9/9, 55.  Damon 23 and Cano 14 cost me pretty dearly.

91 today. After I play, I like to look up to see what O's could have been used.  (Spoiler) I discovered that Paul Bair played 4 games at SS for NYY in 1978 for a total of 4.2 innings. They also played him 5 games at 2B and 3 at 3B that year. Have to store that in my aged memory banks somewhere.
