By all accounts, Bradfield can tell a ball from a strike so he already has a huge advantage.

They were in the bleachers, a seating area.   They basically went to whoever was in the seat they got hit to, + or - one row or one seat either way.   No room for Hemple to maneuver to get under them unless he happened to be sitting right near where they were hit.   He's probably hanging out on the flag court and fortunately nothing has gone there yet.

I don’t think Bradfield is as clueless at the plate as Mateo appears to be. 
 

Hard to tell. One is 21 years old and hasn’t played a pro game yet, the other is an established major leaguer. I don’t think one really has to do with the other.
