Roy, I know that you know this, but the Rays do have the best ERA in the sport. Their problem this month is that they have stopped hitting. Their pitching is top notch.

The runs scored variance from game to game matters, but why does it matter inning to inning? They all count the same. Fine with me if our guys are good at piling on a pitcher who is falling apart or locking in with RISP.
