With Grayson Rodriguez, I think the manager should target getting him through the 5th inning and see how tired he looks in the 5th. From what we've seen, Grayson tends to wear out by the 5th or 6th inning so it deserves some monitoring.

I'd like to see him not going max effort right from the start.

Monday his first 9 fastballs were all 98.9 or higher, including 4 over 100, in the first inning.   And then he never touched 98.9 again in the remaining 48 fastballs he threw.  And almost all of them were under 98.
