The Red Sox missed tying the game by a few feet. It's an RBI double off the LF wall instead. 9-7 with the tying runs in scoring position with one out.

George Kirby stood strong and the Astros played a sloppy game to keep the last berth alive.     TOR loss as well helpful for increasing probability many of the league's best pitchers have to keep hustling without a breather through October 7th and beyond.

Quirky moment in the game, somebody with an infield seat chucked a foul ball back on the field, and it nicked Kirby on the mound.    The TBS national broadcast got some video of the ushers leading a kid and his mom out of the park, and boy was that kid in trouble.

I'd be more afraid of the mom instead of the authorities.  Did you see her get in his face?  With that streaky hair, looked like a pissed off badger.

I dont think I've ever seen a fan throw a baseball and actually hit someone on the field before. That was pretty bizarre.
