AL Playoff Race - 9 weeks left- now 1 week

At this point I would take a push this weekend with TB. 

Then I would hope for BAL to gain a game in loss column prior to the TB series. A split would give the Orioles a 3.5 game lead in the loss column with only 13 games left.

i commented on the rays when it happened,i think they are a better team without franco.he had to be a big distracttion.

Unless his teammates knew about this beforehand, I don’t see how it could be a distraction. He was removed from the roster immediately when the story broke. Also, saying they’re better without him is foolish.

they are 12-4 since his suspension,he also was sat down my the manager for a few games earlier this season because of his attitude. its just my opinion,i think his teammates knew the kind of girls he liked

I'll be very upset if it comes out that he's a pedophile and that his teammates knew about it and didn't say anything.

I also wouldn't be willing to make an accusation like that without some sort of evidence.

Franco was benched before any allegations because he wasn't handling his frustrations well and needed to be a better teammate.

Good weekend for BAL. 3 games off schedule and add a game in lead. HOU swept by NYY. HOU @ TEX for 3 starting today. CLE hosts MIN 3 games starting today. TB @ BOS for 3 starting today. 
 

TOR has tiebreaker over HOU. TOR currently 1-2 vs TEX. TOR loses tiebreaker to SEA. CLE currently up 6-4 over MIN in tiebreak. BAL up 6-3 over TB.

So it looks like after the travel day on Thursday, the O’s play 17 days in a row.  That’s fairly brutal.

They do. Will make it harder to keep a 6 man rotation.

Why?   Seems like that’s exactly the time to use a 6-man rotation, since there’s no built-in extra rest days.

Shorter pen. Easier to do that with off days.
Now granted they do have the extra arm now.

It all depends on the starters if they can consistently give you 6 innings the pen shouldn’t be an issue but you get couple 4 inning starts or extra inning game then pen can get gassed.  Right now we don’t have long man but that might not last after Means is ready.
