will be interesting,its good just to get him pitching again its been a long time

I am encouraged they are starting him in AA, and not a little league game or something.    I had been thinking 6 turns minimum, but if they let him go a little tonight (say 40 not 20 pitches), maybe its 4 turns and he gets the Cole Irvin SP6 role for September tryouts for the October roster.

Everything I'm hearing is that Mullins rejoins the team tomorrow in Seattle and Hicks rejoins the team in San Diego.

not on the milb gamecast,but he has got through 2 innings no problem

Another 1-2-3 inning with 1k.  His 1-2-3 inning was saved by a scoring play of 1-2-3.  Lined back to the pitcher, the ball lands closer to the catcher (Ardoin) who threw to 1st base for the out.

How is his velocity? Does he look healthy and strong? Not really concerned about results. It's not impressive for an established MLB level starter to make easy work of a lineup full of 22 year olds.

He's working quickly.  Only 2 batters took counts a little deep.  Working in and out of the zone.

Means faced 1 batter in the 3rd inning and gave up a soft liner over the 2nd baseman for a hit.  He's done for the evening.  28 pitches/17 for strikes.

Well Alex Monnoah couldn’t even get DSL league hitter out earlier when he went on DL so he is doing better then him.  Lol
