Good teams lose 3 of 4 all the time. Find me a world series winner that didn't lose 3 of 4 at some point. Most of them probably did it multiple times in their championship season.

Well, we already lost 6 of 7 back in June, so I guess we’re terrible.  

I’d venture a guess that there has almost never been a team that didn’t lose 3 of 4 somewhere along the way.  This statement is really ridiculous.

The 2001 Mariners lost 4 in a row at one point, including getting swept by Oakland.

The 1998 Yankees started their season 1–4 and got outscored 36–15 in the process. They lost four out of five from July 16–20, four in a row from August 23–26, four out of five from September 2–7, and five out of six from September 11–16. They finished with 114 wins, a +309 run differential, and a World Series title.
