He wasn't. He got called up after a strong start, but due to a numbers crunch we didn't have any spots to pitch him. And we weren't going to put him above Grayson Rodriguez or Cole Irvin or any of the others. There are only 26 spots on the active roster, and 13 of those can be pitchers.

Just because we have a lot of depth and a congested roster, does not mean he's no good.

Actually if it's just a 4 game funk and we come out of it tomorrow, I would say it was extremely WELL timed.
