With some of the money we’ve seen thrown around for mediocre starters I think this could be a very prudent move if they decide to allocate their resources this way.

I wish.  Would be an excellent move.  Stephenson in the pen and Hall in the rotation is far better than any of the 1-2 year FA starter options.

Yep.  Kind to hard to believe the O's would do that contract.

I think this is too big a gamble for a below average reliever the last few years in the majors.  I get he had a great year with the Rays and stuff can be great but I would rather they spend money on someone with a better track record especially for a team with budget constraints.

Stephenson is hoping to find his Treasure Island this offseason, despite his Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde career trajectory.   Given John Angelos' tight fists, the only way he winds up in an O's uniform is if he is Kidnapped.

He wouldn't be wrong. SI has been straight garbage....as has most offseason reporting. I know it's the day and age that we're in (clicks and likes) but it's gotten absolutely ridiculous.

SI is garbage but this is essentially an MLbTR article..it’s just citing someone else’s work..which isn’t anything more than a prediction.
