Monday, May 13: Blue Jays come to town

The Jays are 18-22, with an X-W/L of 15-25! With a good young core like they have, can anyone summarize for me why the Blue Jays are not only under .500, but seemingly lucky to have as many wins as they have? Berrios looks terrifying as usual...

Their young core isn’t good.

Forgive me. I was spewing recency bias. As in his last AB.

To continue the extreme recency bias, don't worry, they are sitting Santander.

He sits down on the bench between innings when he isn't batting, on deck, or in the hole. :)

I'm just gonna sit here and enjoy the fact that one of the best pitchers in baseball is pitching for the Orioles right now.

Yes, I hope we get some runs for him tonight.

What's your prediction for top Orioles home runs this year?  Mine:

Henderson  36

Santander  27

Westburg. 25

Mountcastle. 25

Rutschman  23

In my mind I swap Santander and Westburg, and maybe even put Westburg closer to 30.
