They win and are up 8-2 after 8 innings and it still doesn’t feel great. The offense was much better so that was great to see. The pitching is definitely concerning, mainly the walks. Grayson has given up 8 BB’s in 11 innings since returning and Cano/Webb have a combined 9/14 K/BB ratio in 13.2 innings in May. After tonight, the O’s BP will likely have the worst K-BB%, xFIP, and SIERA in the league in May. A lot of tonight was on Heasley, but Webb is not a back end guy and Cano is not the same elite set up guy he was last year. They need a lot of help.
