Mateo was way off balance because the throw to him was so high and he had to make sure to hold the bag.

Sure but an "all-star caliber" 3B should be able to make a routine throw to 2B on an easy play right at him.

Gosh man, Melanie is just so bad at describing the action at the radio. Hays’ double was confusing and she described Kjerstad as getting a break tonight in the lineup section.

Maybe her calling is written sports journalism. She loves to over describe and romanticize.

Interesting to see they stack three lefties in the batting order. If it were me, I probably would have put Mateo in the 9th spot to break it up. Cowser can bat 8th.

I think she's trying to develop her own vernacular which wouldn't be that bad if she could just describe action fast enough to keep up.

It turns out I can’t watch on my own TV because my wife canceled our TV cable and we don’t have an antenna, we haven’t even turned on the TV in years. It was so funny when I tried to turn on the TV and found out I can’t.
