Congratulations to Oakland's Joey Estes for his complete game shutout tonight.  You don't see too many of those nowadays.

I can feel even better about congratulating the young man, knowing that the Orioles won't have to face him in this weekend's series.

He's under control next year, should get a nice raise. I'm glad we have him. Might be the easiest Oriole to root for.

So many GMs must have been drooling over who Houston might let go of at the deadline, now having to accept that  they're yet another team competing for the few available pitchers.
