Snell an Oriole possibility?

Please NO. Clubhouse problem who throws 4 2/3 innings per start. That 30 million would be FAR better spent on Burnes.

I don't buy the Snell rumors.  The Giants are in a pretty good position to go on a run with their rotation and their remaining SOS is one of the easiest in MLB.

Also, FWIW I made a futures bet on the Giants to win the WS at +18000, so you definitely shouldn't listen to me.  I'm hoping the Giants buy bats.  haha

There's also risk to keeping Snell with his player option. They have an opportunity to rid themselves from that risk and also acquire some assets.

San Fran is a sub-.500 team that needs to jump four teams to make the playoffs.

It's an interesting dynamic with Snell's ability to opt-out after this year (which is likely to happen.)

Clearly that should impact our cost significantly. 

Are we sure SF is throwing in the towel only 3.5 games out of the WC? I'm not sure about that. That being said, Snell hasn't really contributed a hell of lot to their 2024 campaign (47 innings of 5+ ERA.) 

Buyer beware a lil bit, maybe? 

I think I would rather suck it up and deal one of the big 3 for a guy like Skubal than a rental like Snell. Skubal was made for our ballpark.

Doval would be a great get. Pass on Snell 100%.

I would assume top 10 organization as besides us no one has two top 10 guys.
