Judging from half the board's reaction to Elias' moves today this song seems appropriate. It wasn't perfect, but Elias was never going to mortgage the future by overpaying for Tanner Scott like the Padres did.

OK, I’m on my walk with my wife right now and I’ve been listening to this interview with Elias, and the guys have literally said not one single word about the gameplay. I’ve watched two outs happen with no idea how they happen, I wouldn’t mind an interview with Elias if he said something substantive, but he’s not it’s just, the typical blather. Endgame interviews are stupid. I’m much more interested in the game. The interview can take place afterwards.
