Expectations for Jackson Holliday

What are the expectations for Holliday in his second stint?  

Mine:

Solid to great defense and plays smart with focus in the field and on the base paths.  We need these.  

Batting average of 0.250

OBP of 0.350-0.375

OPS of 0.750-0.800

Towards the end of year he starts to get consideration for being a high OBP guy to be in the lead off spot.  

IMO, he will not go down again and i am not sure he can because Mateo on 60 day.  If he does Mayo must be up and Westburg to second base and Mayo to 3rd.

My expectations are that he will be fine as he continues to grow & learn. He is after all, not even 21 years old.

I just want him to play well enough to stick this time.  Then progress from there.

Just hang in there. It will be hard to not improve on his first stint. Get on base.

Carlos Rodon is Boagrius.     Probably Holliday is more like Patroclus masquerading in the armor in 2024, but one day...

I don’t really have any expectations. Like others said, I just want him to perform well enough to not be in the headlines. Give himself an opportunity to just be up here and grow.

Agree with all these points. Just play sound baseball. Move runners. And yeah, hope dear ol' dad stays home this time. Lol.

I'm more concerned about him making good contact and playing good defense.   If he can just get on base at a .330 - .350 clip for now, I'd be happy.

Pretty low.  Im not sure his elbow is right and I think that has impacted his year.  Total speculation on my part, I dont claim to be knowledgable or have evidence.  Doesn't mean I am down on him as a prospect, just think he is working through some physical limittion.

I'm expecting and would be relatively satisfied with basically what Jordan Westburg did last year.

I really don't think Sigbot would bring him up again if he had physical limitations. I just want to see more competative at bats. And, solid defense at second.
