Problem is we 2/5 of the rotation who just dont give us a chance to win pretty much every time they pitch. (rogers/kremer) Their Statcast pages are absolutely awful.

Spitballing….

Is it possible to go to a 4 man rotation?

Burnes, Eflin, Suarez, Alternate Kremer and Designated Lefty Loser

Elias has invested a very small portion of the Orioles' resources -- draft choices, money, ML free agent signings, international signings -- in pitching. That strategy has created a lack of depth in both starters and relievers, exposing the Orioles to the risk of serious problems in the event injuries and ineffectiveness hit the thinly stocked pitching staff. That's the risk Elias chose to take, and that's what has happened. With the exception of Kimbrel and (IMO) Kremer, guys have not performed a lot worse than reasonable expectations. Most of the others are being asked to perform at a level they're probably not capable of. There's just not a lot of pitching talent there.

Keep shaking your head Urias. That pitch was right there. Tired of watching him. His glove isn’t nearly as good as it was and not good enough for him to seeing the amount of playing time he keeps getting.

He wouldn't be if Westburg weren't out and Mayo showed he could hit anything.

Mayo has not been given a real chance. Ramon has started like 6 out of the last 7 or 8 games. And even in the games Mayo starts he’s subbed out by the 6th inning. Generally 2 or 3 at bats at most. Has he looked great? No, but he has also not been given any chance to really work through it.

This is about all I expected out of Kimbrel.

His numbers aren't out of line with what he has done the last few seasons.

We saw this earlier with one of the other rookie callups.

Mayo wasn't called up because Elias wanted to bring him up.  He was called up because a guy got hurt.

He's being treated like a guy called up to cover for an injury.

But that seems pretty normal, even for top prospects.

Kremer starts tomorrow   😳

He has won 4 and lost 9

Anyone taking bets?

The O’s are -180 to win. Hard to believe that. I guess they are going off of Kremer having good starts last year against them. Seems way too high to me
