Will the Orioles make the playoffs?

To be fair, I have no clue if they actually did for that AB.  I did see some of the beat reporters report yesterday that a lot of the players had changed their walk-up songs yesterday before the game to try and break out of the general offensive slump.  Needless to say it didn't work.

While I hope they get in, I just don’t see it.   If they win 2 games in the last 10, I will be shocked.    They haven’t played playoff worthy in 3 months.

If they had won tonight I would have felt better about their chances of getting a couple more; but with Webb pitching tomorrow (not what we need an ace to shut us down), and then Detroit coming in - I just don't see how we win three more.  And there's no guarantee three would even get it done.  If this is what 99% chance of making the playoffs feels like, I don't know what to say.

At this point I almost want them to miss the playoffs. That’s the only way accountability change will happen

Webb has been awful his 4 last starts putting up a 6.86 ERA.  Of course it is the Orioles, so that probably doesn't mean anything.

I didn’t even consider this a possibility until tonight. But if we go 2-8 and the tigers go 8-2, it’s done. I still hope we have 3 more wins in us. But it’s been so bad lately, who can blame the doom and gloom?

The Twins would also have to go 8-2 and they have been worse than us in September.

I wouldn’t be embarrassed but they should. There is no point in a team playing this bad to be in the playoffs. I would rather have a higher draft pick. If by some miracle they got hot in the next week great. I feel bad for the young fans who have never seen the Os in a WS.

Well I see many on here trying to find a way to get the Orioles to go 2 or 3 wins to get in. Well damn if they can't win at least 2 or 3  wins then the hell with them I honestly don't even want them to make it if they blow this big lead they once had in the WC chase and that's the truth.

The 1984-2024 O's could tie the 1903-1943 St Louis Browns for one of the top 10 all time World Series appearance droughts.  Think about it that way.  It's been a long time.
