Don't want it to seem like an over-reaction, but Guthrie has been my biggest disappointment this season. Koji and Bergesen have done as well as you could expect. Hendrickson and Eaton have been bad, but most expected that, too. The bullpen hasn't quite settled in yet, but it seems to be getting there. Even the bottom third of the batting order has started to come around. But Guthrie has been given up leads in most games and starts in a huge hole in this one. Just disappointing.

This is because we look to him as our ace...he is not a true #1 pitcher. I see him as a quality quality #2/3 pitcher that would sit pretty when our youngins' come up.

I've always viewed Guthrie as a solid #3 starter, not an ace or #2 starter. Would be nice if Koji continues to do well, he could be our #2 starter and somehow somehow Angelos spends big money on a big time starter to be our ace!

I already know the answer to this question but why isn't ARod suspended 50 games when he admittedly took roids while playing? That is just stupid.

Gibbons got suspended in a similar situation.

They would have to suspend everyone from the Mitchell Report then, which would be crazy. But he took steroids, he should get 50 days to think about it.
