They showed the pitch track or whatever it's called on MASN and the ball was a good 4 inches below the bottom of the strike zone.

From the sound of it, the ump had a wide strike zone all game.

The pitch track also shows the track of the ball all the way to the plate so you can see where it was before it was caught. The ball was still below the strike zone, but it was closer than it was when it was caught.

Agreed. I sometimes can be an O homer (sometimes :rofl:) but that pitch was too close. Maybe someone like Markakis gets the benefit of the doubt, maybe they don't... but you gotta take a cut at that pitch.

Frasor is a good righty and Wigginton can't hit righties for some reason. Plus Zaun has been hitting better and can replace Moeller. Wigginton can then hit later in the game.
