Yeah. He has the 50th best career batting average ever. Higher than Puckett, Clemente, Greenberg, et cetera. Think of all the thousands and thousands that have played. Throw in the 394 homers and it's a done deal.

Yea, if he was a career .275 hitter with the same power numbers(e.g. Frank Howard), he wouldn't get in.
