Can't say it's been very pretty basketball thus far for MD. Either Nova is playing great D, or our offense is just completely out of sync. At the moment I'm not so sure our guys could hit water if they fell out of a boat.

Not all bad considering they were making their 3's at will and dominating us on the boards. Would almost rather see Tucker get more PT than Vasquez in the 2nd..... Not interested in his out of control play and wild shots tonight.

Maryland didn't play badly in the first half at all. Villanova wasn't shooting open threes, most were either defender or really deep bombs.

The Wildcats play extremely active defense. If they cool off from the 3 point line in the second half though, Maryland is playing well enough otherwise to make a run and get back in this thing. Really they player pretty well in the first half, a few sloppy turnovers mostly from the pace, and they gave up too many offensive rebounds, but it was much moreso Nova just playing great, not Maryland playing poorly.

3 point game. Hope Maryland wins, but I am almost as big of a Nova fan as I am a terps fan, so I wont be heartbroken if the terps lose.

The zone Maryland is playing now has really limited the looks that Nova is getting from the outside. Only problem is it leaves us susceptible to giving up more offensive rebounds.

Missed 3 really good looks from beyond the arc that would've tied it - one each from Hayes, Vasquez, and Milbourne - then Nova hits a wide open 3. 6 point game with about 10:30 left.

No they aren't, every shot they've taken in the last few possessions has been a good look. Just haven't gone down. Same with Vasquez' drive on that transition play where he missed the shot. We've gotta make some of those.
