For all the scandal and such... I forgot how exciting 1998 was. I remember checking the internet and ESPN every day, seeing if Sammy or Mark hit one. Had even forgot that Griffey was a major player early on. It was all so exciting.

They talked about how much everyone was turning against watching baseball and how they were determined to show both the players and owners how disgusted the funs were.

And then came Ripken.

On another note, the segment about the MFY's sailed them right into the World Series without any mention of chicanery occurring above Tony Tarasco. That was unpleasant.

Yeah, they spent waaaaaaaaaaaay too much time on the 1996 Yankees. And then skipped right over the rest of their late 90's titles.

Keith David's got a real nice voice. Has he done other voiceover work lately?
