You have to show confidence in him and you do that by not taking him out when he's not even close to 100 pitches and had until the previous inning been pitching a no-no.

I get what you're saying but this is Joe Saunders. Not Roy Halladay. Especially after his last start how atrocious he was. I'm glad Buck has come out. Bullpen can hold this. Joe pitched very well 6 innings.

Oh, I know that Adam would play through it ...... my concern was how well he would be able to play if he had hurt his leg (run on the base-paths, sprint for fly balls in the outfield, etc.)
