Actually he hasn't been against it most of the season. He's not loyal to Texas very much... he just thinks the Orioles are the worst team in the playoffs by far.

He said on Thursday that Texas was a better team by far and that if he were doing a "power rankings" (which he normally avoids during the season), he would have the Angels and Rays clearly above Baltimore even though they missed the playoffs and the Orioles didn't. But he also said that in a one game playoff, anything could happen and he wouldn't be surprised at all to see the Orioles beat the Rangers.

I think that's pretty defensible. Who should be on there? Tillman? Hammel, maybe, if he'd finished the season healthy. Or Jim Johnson. Other than that, we don't have anyone who should even be scratching top ten. We've got a ton of mid-rotation guys, which is great, but Law's not being unreasonable here.
