A five page thread about this and their names are mentioned twice.

But the inital post went off topic. It was on purpose. It was never about adding some depth for Bowie and Norfolk, which is perfectly reasonable to any sane person. It was just an attempt to use whatever the Orioles did to skewer them for not signing premium free agents. If the O's had signed a new assistant to the traveling secretary yesterday that would be proof that Angelos will never let Duquette do what it takes to win.

If you do demand money spent, why not spend it on Greinke? There's a much better argument to be made for Greinke than Hamilton.

What's the point of bringing Grienke's name up? It's public knowledge, that PA is stuck in the stone-age, where SP aren't worth 15M a year, or can't be given contracts over 3 years. Hopefully, PA sells the team becomes a FA if he becomes the stud many project. Otherwise, he will most likely be given the Mussina treatment, and finish his career out in NY or LA.

Not if it was George Costanza.

Am I wrong or didn't Jim Johnson have to be identified to Angelos when he handed him the game ball from his 50th save?

True, he doesn't meet hardly any of the players. But he also stayed up to watch all of the 18 inning game. I think he was very excited with this year.
