Matt Bush, a former pitcher in the Tampa Bay Rays organization, has been sentenced to four years and three months in prison for a drunken driving hit-and-run crash.

As part of a deal with Charlotte County prosecutors, the 27-year-old Bush pleaded no contest Tuesday to driving under the influence with serious bodily injury. Not enough time. The biggest issue for me is not only was this his third dui,but he drove off and left the man he hit to die. And the worst part is he won't have to serve any probation when he's finished because he took the extra year.

No, it only shows that he's exceedingly irresponsible. He might care a great deal, but not have modified his behavior to reflect it.
