His rehab assignment ended yesterday. He has to be somewhere today. He's in Boston now. I'm guessing they send down Flaherty for a week.

That's a possibility. They could send Chen or MiGo "down". They wouldn't leave the team of course.

If they're able to wait until after tonight's game, they could send Chen down to the GCL Orioles and have him back up here for his next turn on 9/1.

Maybe they'll option Chen after his start and bring up Gausman for the pen.

Yes Sunday evening. But I think that's because he's slated to start Fri in NY. So they had him pitch an inning rather than throw a side session.

Yes. 9th inning of Sunday's blowout. It was his side session day anyways. It was just against live hitters.

One exception, injuries, allow you to put a player on the playoff roster, not on the regular roster before 1 Sept.

So, hypothetically, if we send Chen down, he can come back and take Reimold's place? Suppose the day before the playoffs Roberts had to go on the 15 day DL, can Gausman take his place or he has to go on the 60 day DL and his season be finished?
