Wow, you're really not capable of posting rationally are you? Let's see, in one post you:

1) Wildly exaggerate Morse's poor season

2) Focus on Avery's skills while completely ignoring his inability to translate any of them to the baseball field

3) Forgot to mention that Avery's career minor league OPS is lower than Morse's MLB OPS in a year where he's apparently hitting .150

4) Act like Iglesias is a big fat zero (along with the other pieces the Sox gave up as part of a three team deal)

5) Imply that the pieces the O's gave up are worth much of anything. Delmonico is the only one who can't be described as "failed."

6) Then throw around a bunch of PED abuse crap that has no place anywhere

Count to 10 is a good idea... sorry I overreacted. Perhaps Morse hits a key HR, Avery is worthless (I agree)... nothing ventured nothing gained. For 30 games I would have thought that paying his salary or giving a 25 yo A level player would have been fair... but it all in the noise.

Call me crazy but I like the move. What do we have to lose by bringing him and seeing if he can provide a spark. Avery was not a big loss anyway you look at it.

Shake a tree and 10 Xavier Averys fall out. I'd just as soon have Trayvon Robinson or 100 other guys just like Avery. I'm not too high on adding Morse, either, but I literally couldn't care less about giving up Avery for him.

I don't know, you have to draw the line somewhere and 15 or 20 runs per full season isn't trivial. That's like saying players who hit .290 and .320 are the same, just lump them all together.
