What did Kelly do to Farrell to make him leave him out there for that many pitches, especially with such a long and grueling inning? Nearly impossible to feel bad for a Red Sox player, but so far this game is mainly on their awful D and our great pitching and solid D. It would be a lot closer if they could turn double plays.

I'm not sure if a team has ever gone from last place to 1st place, then back again to last place in 3 successive years.

If it has happened (since 1901), it hasn't happened very often.
