So the Padres are picking up Kemp for 5/76M. They also pick up a catcher with a .-6 WAR last year.

The Dodgers get Grandal (4.3 WAR over the last 3 years (1.2 last year) and pre-arb eligible), Joe Weiland (soon to be 25 and also pre-arbitration elgible) who was the Pads #13 rated prospect coming into the season, and reportedly Zach Eflin (minor leaguer who was #14 prospect coming into this season).

Eflin is the gem here. He was a 1st rounder in 2012. He is the equate of Hunter Harvey.

Wieland is coming off Tommy John surgery. May be a good pitcher but there is risk. Dodgers eat 30M.

Kemp and catcher Tim Federowicz are headed to San Diego in exchange for catcher Yasmani Grandal, pitcher Joe Wieland, and at least one prospect.

The deal, which will also have the Dodgers sending about $31 million to cover part of the remaining $107 million in Kemp's contract, is expected to be finalized today.

No way to really know. Doubtful half the teams in front of the Os take a player. So there is always a chance. Or the Orioles trade someone to the top team to take him and send him over.
