I honestly don't have the slightest idea what you're even advocating. Are you saying that you don't want to use Wilson for multiple innings today? If so, I totally disagree. That is EXACTLY what he is here for today.

I don't think he wanted to. Look at who we play coming up. The sorry Phillies, Jays then Boston. I think Wilson will be here for awhile. If he goes to Wilson in the 5th then he is going to burn a long man for one inning to get to Matusz or be willing to let him face 12 batters. Wilson wasn't just called up to eat innings.

If I pitched Matusz 2 today and Wilson 3 today, I option Wilson and brin up my long reliever fortomorrow.

And I think they want Wilson here for awhile. The next 3 teams you need RHP. Matusz will only by used to match up.
