Any objections? I have a few. I would keep Drake over Phillips and go without a lefty in the bullpen since both Drake and Brach can get lefties out.

However, this is what I think they will do.

I agree with that. You're probably spot on with the lineup.

Phillips and Roe could easily be replaced with two names outside the organization -- David Murphy (or the like), and a different FA lefty bullpen arm.

Do we let Janish go then? I agree with most of that though I think we may have one or two players on the 25 man currently not on the team. With the departure of Gonzalez despite having an option, I would be surprised

if we didn't add a pitcher in the next few days perhaps James Shields. Roe and/or Worley may not make it, either.

Roe could go if they add another a lefthanded outfielder. Avery or Murphy.

5 Rookies - Rickard, Wright, Wilson, Bundy and Givens. Could be 6 if Avery stays. That's a lot of rookie for a veteran team.

Showalter wants to meet with each player that's sent out and it's harder with 39 still technically in camp. Gonzalez's departure makes 38, but it isn't official.

There are 39 in camp. Now 38. That doesn't mean there are 38 guys on the 40 man roster. Not all guys on the 40 man are in camp and not all guys in camp are on the 40 man.
