It is not dumb if it works. But if you don't have players with that skill set, then I agree it is not good to employ it.

How is Ed-Rod considered bad? He dislocated his kneecap in March and made his first start on the last day of May. He didn't even have a spring training, but I guess we're just going to ignore all that so we can say someone

Who said he's bad? Someone said nothing special. I said Wilson is pitching better this far.
