I think they can’t be that sure at this point. If Bradfield becomes that good then that would be a good problem to have. -

I’m skeptical too but I think the main reason for doing this is two fold. First, they may think that Mayo can handle 3B, thereby pushing Westburg to 2B, and second, there is no clear successor/replacement for Mullins in CF.

Holliday is young enough where I can see some rationale to trying him in a premium position. I still doubt it sticks long term unless he is that good out there and Mayo is that good at third. -

Correction on something I talked about w/r/t DeLeon. I saw someone post about his swingstr% and the number they were using seemed to indicate that it was a below average rate. However, they are using a different version of the stat than what it sounded like they were using. Suffice it to say, DeLeon has a really strong WHIFF%. It is 16%. The ML average is around 11% Good to hear that.
