Not going to get in all the details but essentially he had to make a career choice and turned the O's offer down. It makes sense for his profession which I won't list publicly but in his defense, he's not a translator by trade and him not continuing in his field would have hurt his career growth especially if he was Kim's translator for even a year.

If I was fluent in Korean I would have taken it immediately.

When factoring in the away penalty the O's have set up for themselves this year, I would bet on the O's winning between 1 and 2 out of the 4 games in Oakland. That's my over/under guess anyway. Hope I'm wrong.
