If I am Yacabonis, I am wondering who Tyler Wilson has paid off to keep getting the callup.

It's a matter of what role is needed.  With our starters barely averaging 5.1 IP, long relievers have been at a premium.

O'day is a one inning, later inning guy so Yacabonis hopefully should be next up.

Ton of injuries for every team..Kiermaier maybe out for the year.Yankees have injuries to Chapman,Ellsbury and Bird.As Bordick says Duquette is so good at giving the Orioles deep depth. This should not bother the Orioles. In Duquette we trust.

It wouldn't have hurt so much in past seasons, when the O's had more depth in their bullpen, but the O's had only 4 decent relievers to start this season with, and now they are down to two.  They've run through a panoply of options for middle relief and none of them have worked out.  They need to make a trade if they want to contend this season.

That is why you don't resign them when they are over 30.

Yeah who possibly could have foreseen that signing a 32 yo reliever who had pitched many innings to a four year extension was a really bad idea. This team has been buried by the DD lifetime achievement award contracts (Hardy, O'day, Davis, and Trumbo)
