He wasn’t the best pitcher but I always liked him. I really hoped he’d pan out for us.

+1. He did the best he could with the talents he was given. Pitched a great game against the Red Sox that one time.

I still remember the fangraphs article about him having 4 plus pitches.

Wilson will probably do well in Korea.  He doesn't have the fastball to be a good major league pitcher.  

Maybe Mike Wright can join him.

That was just a random fan-submitted article.  He did have a near plus breaking ball.  I think he'll do well in Korea.

I really liked his personality and demeanor, but his command wasn’t consistent enough for a guy with very average stuff.

I always liked Wilson. I still like him better than Wright. Call me crazy but I would have liked to seen the organization give Wilson another shot at the rotation. Wright imo is just awful and will never amount to anything.

He's going to a league that averaged 5.3 runs/game, compared to the AL's 4.7.  Although the LG Twins appear to be one of the more pitcher friendly places in Korea to go.

I saw him start a game in Norfolk in July.  I think he went five, gave up about three runs, and missed maybe three bats the whole time.  He looks like an all American baseball player, but he just dosen't have very good stuff.

Really is too bad he didn't have better stuff.  He knew how to pitch and attack hitters.
