This season depends a lot on a resurgance from Davis.  If he is out for any significant time and they aren't willing to pay for a significant replacement they might as well pack it up. 

The nice thing is Mancini or Trumbo could move so they could sign almost anyone.  Moustakas?

If Davis is out for a significant amount of time, I would think it'll be Trumbo at first, Mancini in left, and Alvarez at DH.

Hope it's nothing serious though.

If Davis is out, a defensive improvement would be:

Mancini to first, Cedric Mullins brought up to play left, Trumbo to another team, and Alvarez still at DH because keeping him off the field is the best defensive move there is.

Or Trumbo at DH and Alvarez to Norfolk.

Since it is easier to send Alvarez to Norfolk than it is to send Trumbo to another team.

If Davis needs TJ and misses the season I wonder if the O's have insurance on the deal and how much would they recoup?

Let this be a lesson to any of you youngsters out there trying to make it to the Bigs. If you make 23 million a year, don’t strain your forearm unloading that pallet of money into a wheelbarrow. Hire someone to do that for you.
