Manny was theoretically going to an easier position to field on the same side of the diamond. Wilkerson is a 2B/3B who has played some corner OF

This is going to be an adventure. If he’s even adequate out there I will be very surprised. My guess is that his play will be comparable to what we got from Nolan Reimold a few years back when Adam was hurt.

That's not a bad lineup.  I'd put Smith in front of Mancini but whatever.  Also, in hopes that Davis is still heating up and making a change, I'd put him in front of Ruiz who's batting .233 over his last 30 at bats.

For the 2nd consecutive series, the Orioles are scheduled to play a rubber match ........ the previous one against the Devil Rays was postponed.

 

After a brutal start to the season,  Chris Sale has pitched to the tune of a 3.13 ERA over his last 4 starts combined ........ somewhat similarly,  Andrew Cashner had a clunker in his 1st game of the season, and then had an ERA of 2.86 over his next 5 starts combined before his defense let him down badly in his most recent outing.

It helps they are playing at 4 instead of 7 like usual. 

Doesn't bode well for the "A League Of Their Own" movie afterward though.
