I believe that if the season ended today, Cashner would be in the conversation for the MVO ........ I'm not saying that he would necessarily get it, but I believe that he would be in the conversation.

He was good this afternoon, with a little help from his friends on defense ........ although they (the defense) did make him have to get the proverbial 4 outs in his 6th and final inning of work.

It is indeed near me and as you can see, too many smokers to have much room for seating.

I've never had them since you have to order in advance, but it's the only place around that will do beef ribs.

I think you're confusing or mis-remembering things. The Orioles had a great season in 1969. They won the pennant, and the WS was called off due to a labor dispute. That's the way I recall it, anyway.
