Updated the roster projection for all transactions through 12/4/2019.
See opening post

Projected 2020 Opening Day Payroll (ODP) is now $60.88M. Last year's ODP was $82.12.

Reminder -- my rule for ODP -- only players on the 40 Man roster.

The 40 Man now contains 37 players; so, room for both Rule 5 draftee(s) and major league signing(s).

What is the projected ODP down to now? Maybe the O's can lower it so Davis takes up more than 40% of it...ditch Cobb, Givens, might make it.

Davis accounts for 37.8% of the current ODP, Cobb 23%.

The O's would have to dispose of Mancini and/or Givens, maybe both if they sign any players to major league contracts, in order for Davis to account for 40% or more.

Updated the roster projection to reflect the Rule 5 draftees.

Projected 2020 Opening Day Payroll (ODP) is at $61.09M. Last year's ODP was $82.12M.

Reminder -- my rule for the ODP for the 26 Man Roster -- only players on the 40 Man Roster.

The 40 Man is now full.

Davis accounts for 37.6% of the current ODP, Cobb 22.9%.

I don't see anyone advocating cutting Jim Hunter, Mike Bordick, Dave Johnson, Tom Davis  and Steve Melewski to add .57

Let's stick to the team payroll.

Does the team need both Meleeski and Roch?  Seems they could save some money on cutting one of them.
