I think this was really cool. But I have to ask, Do you think catching the no hitter helps Soto in the MVP race. He is certainly in the mix, but has been overshadowed by Berkman, Pujols, and Delgado, maybe Utley. I have to think this should be considered though.

He's had a great season, but I don't think he has a shot at the MVP.

This won't play a factor at all. The fact that Jason Varitek has caught 3 (or is it 4?) no-hitters in his career never helped his MVP chances any.
