Who was that third baseman for the expos who had a career batting average of about 230 but always hit 40 homeruns a year? Dave Kingman?

If Ruiz could do that, and add good D(which Kingman didn’t have) he could be quite valuable.

My memory is always suspect but it seems to me we've roughed up Happ a couple several times in the past.

Kingman didn't play for the Expos and didn't play much 3rd, more first and LF. 

Lets  just get Ruiz to a positive career WAR first, and maybe a .400 SLG, baby steps.

Maybe? I remember him killing us as a Blue Jay. The last Yankees pitcher I distinctly remember us killing was C.C. Sabathia. Probably in his last season of 2019.
